Licensed Mental Health Counselor (MH12213)

Anna Lively is a State of Florida Licensed Mental Health Counselor, National Certified Counselor and Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor. She earned her Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Saint Leo University. She continues to regularly attend lectures, seminars and workshops to increase her knowledge base and ability to serve her clients’ needs.
She has worked in the mental health field in the areas of grief and bereavement counseling, mood disorders, relationship issues, parenting, domestic violence (victims and offenders) and with victims of trauma. Her experience includes working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families dealing with depression, anxiety, identifying and expressing healthy emotions (including anger management and stress management), conflict resolution and working through life change adjustments.
She has been a regular speaker at community and church ministry groups on various topics, has lead several support, process, skills and therapy groups. She has also been a featured speaker at a Marriage Mentoring workshop and Caregiver’s Support Groups. She has worked as a certified geriatric care manager and worked for over 20 years in the legal field prior to becoming a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.
At this time - all counseling services are provided via telehealth using a HIPAA compliant, secured audio/video platform.
Recognizing that the spiritual component is at the core of all life struggles, her focus as a counselor is to help clients identify their personal goals and provide tools, encouragement and support to reach an integrated holistic approach to healing and growth to reach those goals. Her focus is “Helping to heal life's hurts so that you can live the life you desire.”
She is a life-long South Hillsborough County resident and has been married over 30 years. Her family includes two adult sons, 3 dogs, 1 cat and assorted other pets.
